We are looking to join a consortium primarily for topic 2. Within that topic we are interested in novel sources of protein production, more specifically (precision) fermentation proteins, SC proteins and plant molecular farming. Other sources like algae are also attractive. We are also interested in understanding the consumer perception, knowledge and motivations towards new protein sources.
Our role as industrial partner would include input on suitability of raw material, testing in application, feedback on consumer perception, among others.
We offer extensive know-how on baking, patisserie and chocolate applications, and an innovation team of researchers with diverse backgrounds and expertise relevant to food research. We have application testing labs and technicians, a vast range of analytical instruments including chromatography, food physico-chemical analysis, microbiology, sequencing, etc., as well as pilot-scale facilities for fermentation and bio-process (for example for precision-fermentation). Finally, we have an in-house trained sensory panel and industry experts in fermentation, baking, patisserie and chocolate making.
